Pen-Tech Associates, Inc. was founded in 1977 by five engineers. From its inception, the firm has represented leading companies in the fields of instrumentation and test equipment, computers and peripheral products, multimedia products, image processing, and power supply related products. During these 25+ years Pen-Tech has accumulated well over 100 years of OEM sales and management experience. We feel that our longevity is a direct result of our hard earned sales experience and our ability to adapt to changing markets forces.
A Manufacturers' Representative in business since 1977 has much to be proud of, and not just its longevity. It takes a solid business principles to weather the ups and downs of the economy and the markets that we participate in. Throughout our history, we have had the strength to adapt to our markets, the stability to maintain and grow our account base and the commitment to provide quality service to our manufacturers, dealers and distributors.

PTA represents Board/System level OEM electronics and software, engineering and manufacturing automation equipment, and computer peripheral products into the POS/POI/Gaming, Medical, Industrial, Transportation, Government/Military and Telecommunications markets.
With one central office in Greensboro, NC and three sales offices in the Atlanta, Orlando, and Tallahassee metropolitan areas, we are unique in offering full coverage of our territories with an outside sales and in-house support team unequaled in the industry. Our sales representatives in the field are backed up 100% by a comprehensive system of inside sales coordination, order entry and data tracking. PTA’s management believes in investing in its people, in its systems and in its office technology. It is no surprise that the tenure of our sales and support staff far exceeds the average in the rep firm business.
